Census facts for any ZIP code
✓ Free, no sign-up Open ZipFacts →ZipFacts shows public U.S. Census Bureau facts for a ZIP code. Type the five digits, or tap Use my location, and you get a simple summary of the people and homes in that area.
The numbers come from the 2020 Census, the American Community Survey 5-year estimates (2020–2024), and the 2024 Census Gazetteer. Survey numbers are estimates and can have a margin of error, especially for small ZIP codes.
It is useful when you are thinking about moving, opening a business, planning a mailing, or just curious about a place.
Census data is collected for ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs), which closely match, but are not exactly the same as, mail ZIP codes.
ZipFacts is free from Zip Code Nation, the makers of the Zip Code USA database. No account, nothing to learn: type a ZIP and read the facts.
It runs in the web browser on an iPhone, Android phone, tablet or computer. To keep it handy, open it and use your browser's Add to Home Screen option, and it will sit on your phone like any other app.
